Andy Burcham - Station Manager, WANI Newstalk 1400
Andy Burcham manages day-to- day operations of WANI-AM and also hosts the ABBY Award- winning Auburn/Opelika
This Morning. WANI was named Alabama Broadcasters Association Radio Station of the Year in 2009 He is a 1983
graduate of Indiana State University.
Andy began working in radio at age 18 and has served in both news and sports roles throughout his career. After
moving to Alabama from Illinois, his first position in the Auburn area was News & Sports Director for Fuller
Broadcasting.
In addition to his duties with Auburn Network, Inc., Andy is a member of the Auburn ISP Sports broadcast team.
He serves as lead announcer for women’s basketball, anchors the football pre and post-game lockerroom broadcasts,
works with Rod Bramblett on Auburn baseball broadcasts and is the play-by-play announcer for Auburn’s tape
delayed and pay-per-view telecasts.
Burcham is a native of Nashville, Illinois. He is married to Dr. Jan Gunnels Burcham, Endowed Chair for Early
Childhood Education at Columbus State University.

Julie Burns – News Director
Julie Burns is the News Director for WANI and co-host of the ABBY Award winning Auburn/Opelika This Morning. An upstate New York native Julie comes to
the Auburn Network after a ten year hiatus from the broadcast industry in Montgomery. She also works as the mid-day host on Wings, 100.3 FM. Julie
lives in Auburn with her sons.

Brad Law - Afternoon Host
Brad Law began his broadcasting career calling Piedmont High School basketball games at the age of 15.
Since graduating from Piedmont in 1999, Brad has served as play-by-play announcer for numerous schools
and stations in Northeast Alabama and state championship events on the AHSAA Radio Network. Since
arriving in Auburn in 2004, he has filled in behind the microphone on broadcasts of Auburn baseball
and softball, along with Troy basketball. The 2008 AU graduate serves as the producer for Tiger
football and men’s basketball broadcasts on the Auburn ISP Sports Network. In addition to Inside
the Auburn Tigers Radio, Brad co-hosts Prep Sports Game Night, a state syndicated high school football
scoreboard show, also distributed by Auburn Network, Inc.
