Burglary, Robbery & Assault Arrest

On Tuesday, February 25, 2014 the Auburn Police Division
arrested Justin C. Gold, age 19 and Justin M. Clark, age 20 both of Auburn on
felony warrants charging them each with burglary second degree, robbery second
degree and assault third degree.
At approximately 3:35 a.m. Tuesday morning police responded
to a report of glass breaking near a residence in the 400 block of N. Dean
Road. When officers arrived on the scene
they were met by the victim and informed that unknown suspect(s) broke a window
at his residence, afterwhich they entered his home where he was asleep inside. One of the suspects assaulted him, while
others rummaged through the residence. The
suspects fled before retrieving any property; the resident received minor
An investigation into the incident was initiated by the
Auburn Police Division. It was
discovered that at least one of the suspects possibly cut themselves at the
scene. Justin Gold and Justin Clark were
later located by Police at East Alabama Medical Center. Further investigation
by police determined that both Gold and Clark were involved in the burglary,
robbery and assault of the victim at which point they were taken into
custody. The investigation remains
ongoing and addition arrests and charges are expected.
Both Gold and Clark were transported to the Lee County Detention
Facility where their bonds were set at $130,000 each.
