Auburn Robbery Arrest

The Auburn Police Division has arrested three individuals and is searching for another suspect in connection to the investigation of a robbery and burglary that occurred in Auburn.  On Wednesday, October 15, 2013 officers arrested a 17 year old juvenile from Salem, Alabama on felony warrants for Robbery First Degree and Burglary First Degree. 

These arrests are the result of an investigation  regarding  a robbery that was reported to have occurred in the 300 Block of E. Glenn Avenue in Auburn on October 6, 2013.   The victim was robbed by two suspects who fled with stolen property valued at over $2,400, including the victim’s debit card that was later used at a local ATM.


Using video footage,  Police have been able to identify, Montrell R. Daniels, age 23 of Auburn as the other suspect in the Robbery/Burglary.   Detectives have obtained felony warrants charging him with Robbery First Degree and Burglary First Degree.  Auburn Police, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshal Service are actively searching for Daniels in connection to this case.  The public is encouraged to call police with any information.  The investigation is ongoing. 


On October 14, 2013 Auburn Police arrested Ashford K. Pettway and Ashley K. Pettway, both 23 years old from Auburn on felony warrants for Hindering Prosecution First Degree.    


The juvenile was transported to the Lee County Jail where his bond was set at $130,000.  Ashley and Ashford Pettway were also transported to the Lee County Jail where their bonds were set at $3,000 each.
