Parking Deck Graffiti in Auburn

The Auburn Police Division is investigating damage caused by graffiti painted in the Gay street Magnolia area during the month of  September.   This investigation is a continuation of efforts that led to the arrest of David S. Tatum, 19 of Auburn, who was arrested for Criminal Mischief Third degree on September 25, 2013 for similar damages in the area .  The Police Division is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an additional person of interest captured on video in the area during the time frame of these incidents.  The individual(s) responsible for the damages in this case, if convicted, could face court fines ranging from $500.00 to $2,500.00, restitution cost, court costs and confinement in the Lee County Detention Facility from 90 days to 6 months.  If you recognize the individual in the photograph or have any information on either case, contact the Auburn Police Division at 334-501-3140 or the Tip Line 334-246-1391.
