Burglary Arrest in Auburn

On Sunday, September 29, 2013 the Auburn Police Division arrested four individuals in connection to residential burglaries in the Auburn area. Officers arrested Trevonta J. Guy and Quintavious L. Dowdell, both 18 years old from Auburn and Two 17 year old juveniles, also from Auburn.  All four suspects were charged with Burglary Third Degree, Theft of Property Second Degree, Receiving Stolen Property Second Degree and Possession of Marijuana Second Degree.  The arrests stems from an investigation of police reports dated the same day of burglaries that occurred at residences in the 2300 Block of Lee Road 137 and 2700 Block of Lee Road 12.  Officers apprehended all four suspects in the area and recovered two flat screen televisions and a hand gun with a total value of $1,500.00.  Guy and Dowdell were transported to the Lee County Jail where their bond was set at $10,000 each.  The juveniles were transported to the Lee County Youth Development Center, where they were being held.  The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are possible.
